All fifteen members of the Homer trap team are set to participate in the New York State Shoot, competing against schools from across New York State!

Competing in its first year, Homer’s trap team has achieved remarkable success. Finishing third in their conference, the Trojans had several incredible team and individual performances.

“Our kids have demonstrated outstanding commitment and skill,” Homer coach Jason Kemp said. “I can’t understate how proud I am of each and every one of them.”

Four Trojan males finished in the top 25 rankings and two females in the top 10. Homer student Karson K. also qualified for the national tournament in the state of Michigan.
