The Homer Varsity Girls Tennis Team recently came together to conclude their successful season with a thank you to three staff members who went above and beyond for the team this season. 

Throughout the season, Mr. Kilmer, Mr. Craft, and Mr. Dockstater maintained the courts and ensured that the student-athletes reached their matches safely and on time. 

“Without a bus driver or maintenance workers we really couldn’t have a tennis season,” junior Emma Effinger said. “We really appreciate their hard work!”

Head coach Nancy Cavellier also expressed her deep appreciation for the trio's contributions. 

"We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and hard work of Mr. Kilmer, Mr. Craft, and Mr. Dockstater. Their behind-the-scenes efforts made it possible for us to play all season long. We can’t be thankful enough for their tireless support of our program.”

To further celebrate a great season, the team then invited some of the high school staff members to the courts for a friendly match. A wonderful way to end a great season!
