Four years in the making!

This spring, the Homer High School Environmental Club dedicated a brand-new outdoor classroom at Homer High School. The idea for an outdoor classroom originated in 2019. Students wrote grants and asked for donations for the project which broke ground in October of 2021. The BOCES construction class worked diligently on the structure throughout the 2022-2023 school year, and the classroom was dedicated in June!

We would like to thank the Homer Education Foundation, Wild Center, National Geographic, Cortland Rotary, and all other businesses and organizations who helped make this project a success.
