Homer Senior Sam Sorensen Honored with Multiple Awards at All-CNY Awards

Homer, NY – Homer High School is pleased to announce that senior student-athlete Sam Sorensen has recently been recognized with multiple awards at the All-CNY Awards. Sam was recognized as the Small School Football Player of the Year, the Division II Wrestler of the Year, and the Male Athlete of the Year.

"We are thrilled and incredibly proud of Sam for his extraordinary achievements.” Athletic Director Todd Lisi said. “Throughout his high school career, he has consistently displayed passion, sportsmanship, and leadership. Sammy's commitment to excellence have brought our teams to unprecedented heights.”

Sorenson had a decorated athletic career in Homer. He holds multiple school records in wrestling to go along with multiple state championships in additi. After graduation, Sam will be attending West Point to wrestle for the Army Black Knights.
