New Configuration at Elementary School Aims to Increase Traffic Flow in Village

Renovations to the pick-up and drop off areas at Homer Elementary School will  have a big impact on the village as well. The elementary school playground is being relocated, enabling new parking and drop off setups as well as a reconfigured bus loop. This will improve the traffic flow on main street, enabling vehicles passing through to do so more safely and easily.

“This new configuration to the Elementary School will improve travel not only for our elementary school families, but the rest of the village as well,” Homer Superintendent Thomas Turck said. “We are so excited to see the completion of this project and the positive impact that it will have on the community.”
