Coach Gary Podsiedlik celebrates 40 years as Homer football coach this season.
Podsiedlik was honored during the fall homecoming game, where Athletic Director Todd Lisi said:
"Your love and enthusiasm and passion for the game of football provided life lessons for all the many young men that have had the privilege of being coached by you over the last 40 years...Homer is not just a place someone lives, it is a community with a sense of great belonging. Coach P., you have helped cultivate this community and its warm, hometown feel since 1983."
