DIRECTIONS TO CARTHAGE HIGH SCHOOL/MIDDLE SCHOOL Route 81 North to exit 48 (Fort Drum). Turn right off the exit onto Rte. 342. Continue on Rte. 342 to the end (comes to a T, about 10 miles from exit.) Turn left onto Rte 3. Travel approximately five miles to village of Great Bend. At stop light, turn right onto Rte 26 South. Travel six miles to high school/middle school complex. Approximate driving time by bus from Homer is 2 hours 15 minutes (112 miles) DIRECTIONS TO WEST CARTHAGE ELEMENTARY (for JV Boy's Soccer) Follow above directions to the high school. Just before high school entrance, turn right onto Cole Rd. School is located ╜ mile on the left.
ALTERNATE ROUTE TO HIGH SCHOOL/MIDDLE SCHOOL (Allows for a large number of restaurants in Watertown. These directions are the easiest, not necessarily the shortest.) Route 81 North to Watertown (Exit 45). Take a right at stop sign at end of exit. This right turn will put you on Rt. 3 East. (There will be approx. 20 eating options over the next few miles.) Stay on Rt. 3 through Watertown. As you leave Watertown stay straight on Rt. 12. (RT. 3 TURNS 90 DEGREES LEFT, DO NOT TURN; STAY STRAIGHT) Stay on Rt. 12, it will become Rt. 126. Stay on Rt. 126 for approximately 13 miles. At stop light in West Carthage, turn Left. The school will be about 1 mile on the left.
