DIRECTIONS
TO HOMER HIGH SCHOOL & Butts Field - located on Route
#281.
·
From 1-81 North or
South, take the Homer Exit #12.
·
Stay on the exit ramp
all the way to the end to the traffic light. (You will actually be following
Ithaca signs for route 281.)
·
Turn right at the light
(this will put you on Route #281 N).
·
You will see Homer High
School on your right hand side as you bear right onto Route #281.
·
The main entrance is
located in the front of the building at the pillars. Athletic fields are located behind the building.
DIRECTIONS
TO INTERMEDIATE-JUNIOR HIGH - located on
Route #41/Clinton St.
From
1-81 North or South, take the Homer Exit #12.
·
Stay on the exit ramp
all the way to the end to the traffic light. (You will actually be following
Ithaca signs for route 281.)
·
Turn right at the light
(this will put you on Route #281 N).
·
Proceed north on route
#281. At the second traffic light, the
intersection of Route #281 and Route #41, turn right onto Route #41 (at this
point #41 is also called Clinton St).
·
The school is located on
your left about 1/8 mile.
Alternate
route to the Intermediate/Jr. High:
·
If traveling south on I-81,
you may take the Preble Exit #13. Off
the exit continue south on Route #281.
·
You will travel
approximately five miles.
·
The first traffic light
you come to will be at the intersection of Routes 281 and 41 in Homer.
·
Turn left at the light
onto Route 41 (which at this point is also known as Clinton St.).
·
The school is located on your left about 1/8
mile.
DIRECTIONS
TO ELEMENTARY – located just off Main
Street on Park Place
From
I-81 North or South take the Homer Exit #12.
·
Merge to the right lane
of the exit ramp. You will follow the
signs for Homer - Route #11 exit (blue hospital signs also appear).
·
Proceed off the Route
#11 Homer exit. Enter the left lane,
and turn left onto Route #11 north.
·
Route #11 is also Main
St. You will travel less than 1 mile.
·
The Elementary School
will be on your left, sitting back from the road behind a large area, called
the Village Green.
The
Fire Station and Library are across the street.
·
Park Place is a left
turn located at the end of the Village Green.
A blue house sits on the corner
of Main St. and Park Place.
·
The school is
“sandwiched” between two churches.
Alternate
directions if traveling from the
north on Route #11 South.
·
Proceed on Route #11
south into the village of Homer, where Route #11 becomes Main St.
·
As you enter the
"business district" of Main St., the Elementary School will be on
your right hand side (behind the Village Green).
After
the traffic light, you will pass the Post Office, the Cortland Savings Bank and
a blue house on the corner of Main Street and Park Place.
·
Turn right onto Park
Place and you will find the school “sandwiched” between two churches.
DIRECTIONS
TO CALALE FIELD – located on
Route #281
From
1-81 North or South, take the Homer Exit # 12.
·
Stay on the exit ramp
all the way to the end to the traffic light. (You will actually be following
Ithaca signs for route 281.)
·
Turn right at the light
(this will put you on Route #281 N).
·
Proceed north on route
#281 through one traffic light (about ˝ mile).
Calale Field will be on your left hand side. There is a flagpole and sign near the road side; the field sits
back in from the road.
Alternate
Way to Calale Field:
·
If traveling south on
I-81, you may take the Preble Exit #13.
Off the exit continue south on Route #281.
·
You will travel
approximately five miles.
·
The first traffic light

Continue through the
light -- Calale Field will be just a short distance ahead on your right hand
side
DIRECTIONS
TO CASEY'S FIELD – located off
Route #11 just outside Homer
From
I-81 North or South take the Homer Exit #12.
·
Merge to the right lane
of the exit ramp. You will follow the
signs for Homer - Route #11 exit (blue hospital signs also appear).
·
Proceed off the Route
#11 Homer exit. Enter the right lane,
and turn right onto Route #11 south.
·
Continue traveling south
on Route #11 for approximately 2/10 of a mile.
·
Casey’s Field is located
on your left, sitting back from the road (behind Rick & Rich towing).

TO CORTLAND COUNTRY CLUB – located off
Route #281 in Homer
·
From 1-81 North or
South, take the Homer Exit # 12.
·
Stay on the exit ramp
all the way to the end to the traffic light. (You will actually be following
Ithaca signs for route 281.)
·
Turn left at the light
(this will put you on Route #281 south).
·
The entrance to the Cortland
Country Club will come up almost immediately on your left. There’s a large
white house located on the corner of the entrance.
DIRECTIONS
TO GRIGGS FIELD – located off Route
#281 in Homer
·
From 1-81 North or South,
take the Homer Exit # 12.
·
Stay on the exit ramp all
the way to the end to the traffic light. (You will actually be following Ithaca
signs for route 281.)
· Turn right on Route 281 heading North. You will pass Homer HS.
·
Continue through 1 traffic
light. Travel approximately 1/8 mile, you will pass Calale Park, then turn
left on Hudson St/Creal Road. Field is on the right.
DIRECTIONS
TO LIME HOLLOW NATURE CENTER (for Cross Country Meets)
·
From the North or South: I-81 Exit 12 for Homer
·
Follow the signs on the exit ramp for Route 281 and turn left onto 281 heading south. (Homer High School is located on Route 281 just north of the I-81 exit).
·
Travel approximately 3.5 miles on Route 281 and turn right onto McLean Road. (Just past Doug’s Fish Fry on the left)
·
Proceed down McLean Road for 2.1 miles. The entrance to the Lime Hollow Nature Visitor's Center will be on your left hand side.
·
Buses will be able to park at the visitor's center. All other spectators will park in a lot approximately 300 yards further down McLean Road. There will be personnel to direct spectator traffic.

TO SUNY - PER ARENA – located off
Route #281 in Cortland

From 1-81 North or
South, take the Homer Exit #12.
·
Stay on the exit ramp
all the way to the end to the traffic light. (You will actually be following
Ithaca signs for route 281.)
·
Turn left at the light
(this will put you on Route #281 south).
·
Proceed south thru 4
traffic lights (approximately 3 miles).
·
After the 4th light, you
will pass several car dealerships. The
entrance to the PER arena will be on the left just before the Railroad Crossing.
