German Exchange
Mr. Williams started the Tuttlingen Exchange in 1989, together with Mrs. Hering, Cortland High German teacher. This fall the 14th annual group will arrive from Tuttlingen, and stay here for four weeks.
Homer Students travel to Tuttlingen for four weeks in the summer. The students also visit cities in France and Switzerland, as well as cities like Heidelberg, Nürnberg, and Köln in Germany. While the students are there they stay with their host family almost the entire time. This allows them to experience the German culture. At the end of this time, the students spend two or three days in a youth hostel, visiting a major city such as Munich or Berlin
