Screenings

New York Education Law requires:
1. All new entrants to the district will be screened for color perception, near vision, hyperopia, distance acuity, and hearing.
2. Vision screening to be done on all new students, K, first, second, third, fifth, seventh, and twelfth grade students annually.
3. Hearing screening to be done on all new students, K first, third, fifth, seventh, and twelfth grade students annually.
4. Scoliosis screening will be done on all students in grades 5-9 annually.
