The Homer Central School District will follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), state and local health departments, the New York State Education Department, and all Executive Orders from the Governor of New York State.  Homer Central Schools will continue to update this page over the summer as our plan is developed.

Homer Schools has finalized the School Reopening Plan for the fall of 2020. The highlights of the plan are below. The complete document can be accessed here.

The Family Reopening Commitment form must be completed for each of your children click here. Please submit this form by August 7th.

The COVID-19 pandemic challenged us to adapt and adjust educational and operational strategies and activities over the last four and a half months.  Given the uncertainty of circumstances when schools are scheduled to open for the 2020-2021 school year in September, the District is developing plans that will account for all contingencies, as well as being flexible enough to adapt to changes as they may occur.

To help us develop a high quality plan, we created the Family Re-Opening Survey.
