The guidance counselors assist students in many ways during the school year. Some examples of the concerns discussed with counselors are college selection, interpretation of test results, grades, course selection, study habits, and other matters of personal importance. Students should seek their counselor's assistance when they have questions or need to make decisions about their school program, plans beyond high school or personal concerns. Please work through the guidance office when sending applications for college or financial aid, or when requesting transcripts.
Guidance counselors will contact students toward the end of the academic year in order to plan course work for the next year. Guidance information, when available, is posted on the bulletin board outside the guidance office for all freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors.
